~ Birthday Party ~ A day of pampering at the Spa

I'm so excited to finally able to share with you these pictures of my daughter's Spa themed birthday party. The girls had a fabulous day of pampering complete with face masks, manis, make up and  lots of goodies to bring home!  

Mini Facial station set up, ready with bowls of water, towels and hair ties. 

We used chocolate and strawberry face masks and cucumber slices for the eyes.

 

We used a cupcake stand to show the nail polish color selection.

At the beauty bar the girls got to choose lots of goodies to bring home: spa bath salts, bath loofahs, mini hand sanitizers and nail file sets were all decorated with personalized labels from the shop. 

 

Cake and cupcakes, Rice Krispie treats, Rock Candy, Bubble gum and Jelly beans at the sweet table. Cupcake toppers, table frame sign and candy jars printable decor now available at my etsy store

 The girls got their Make up done and had lots of fun dancing and playing the rest of the afternoon.

~ Birthday Party~ Pink and Gold Valentine's Birthday Party

I had an amazing time last weekend decorating and crafting at Arianna's Birthday party.

Gold, white and pink were the colors chosen for the decor.  

Here are some pictures of the party. 

 Sweethearts^® candy was the inspiration for the cupcake toppers. 

Each topper had a different little saying.

 We used Gold Burlap runners for the tables, decorated mason jars for drinks, pink champagne glasses and clear pink Chiavari chairs to achieve a rustic glam look. 

 

Arianna's mom loves to craft.  She set up a really awesome craft station with tons of supplies, the girls used them to make scrapbooks and stamped tiles {BTW I loved this last idea, I had never seen it before}. The girls had a blast.

~ DIY Tutorials ~ Rice Krispie Pops "Little Pirates"

As seen on Ivano's First Birthday "Pirate Party"...

Here are the instructions on how to make these cute little pirates pops: 

To make the pops you'll need:

  

Round Cookie Cutter 

Candy wooden sticks

Parchment Paper

Icing decorating tubes {red, white and black}
Treat bags and curling ribbon to wrap pops  

50 ml	1/4 cup	margarine or butter
250 g	1 pkg	(about 40) regular marshmallows or 5 cups miniature
2 ml	1/2 tsp	vanilla extract (optional)
1.5 L	6 cups	RICE KRISPIES CEREAL

 

Preparation

1. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
2. Stir in vanilla. Stir in RICE KRISPIES cereal until well coated.
3. Using lightly buttered spatula, press into buttered round cookie cutter over parchment paper.
4. Wait a few minutes and insert Candy sticks before they dry completely
5. Let dry and decorate with Icing decorating tubes {Usually available in the baking section of the supermarkets or specialty store like bulk candy or Michaels}, let dry completely at least 6 hours before wrapping.

You can also make your own royal icing with the mix like shown in the picture above but then you'll need colouring gels, piping bags and tips.

 Now you can use any cookie cutter to make any rice krispie pops to match your party theme.

~ Birthday Party ~ Sarina's SWEET Second Birthday Party

I am so excited to share with you the pictures of my daughter's second birthday party!

I am currently in recovery mode from all the planning; I worked non-stop for the past month doing all the little projects, but it was all worth it because I just love how everything turned out.

THE DECOR...

While browsing Birthday Express for party supplies, I found the most adorable paper plates and cups from Yummi-land.  My daughter loves candies, so I thought the candy theme was perfect for her party.

It was so much fun to plan all the decor:  Lollipops, cupcakes, candies and gumballs.  I made columns of balloons in pink, red, blue and red.  The scenary for the Sweet Table consisted of two giant lollipops and a big cupcake.

THE DESSERT TABLE...

It looked so sweet!  I picked all the candies to coordinate with the party colors. There were swirl lollipops, jelly beans, Smarties, gummies, marshmallows, gumdrops, pink wafer cookies, cupcakes decorated with pink and blue frosting, coordinated the party circles I designed, Dubble Bubble pops wrapped in pink, raspberry and aqua blue tissue and cello paper, chocolate cups with strawberries and whipped cream...


The Cake {I am so proud of my cake; I took a Michaels fondant and gum paste decorating class a couple of weeks ago and this was my first cake and I loved it!} I did all the fondant bows, lollipops and candy decorations for thecake and cupcakes. 





And I can't forget about the little waffle-ice cream house with my baby's name and the number 2 on top, inspired by the Sweetopia logo. Adorable, isn't it?

THE PARTY FAVORS...

They were the most adorable mini-gumball machines. I purchased them at Beau-coup  and decorated them with an organza bow and a guest name tag.


 

THE FOOD TABLE...

At the Food table  there was veal sandwiches, chicken and beef lasagna, caesar salad, mini hot dogs, chicken nuggets, cheese and fruit trays.  I made Jello cups in 3 layers of strawberry, blueberry and raspberry  flavours to match the party colors.  

The clear plastic cutlery was wrapped in aqua blue paper napkins and decorated with napkin rings made with ribbons and the same party circles as the cupcakes. The spoons were also decorated with party circles.{I got a lot of compliments on my lasagna, several friends asked me for the recipe -  I will be posting it soon}

 ENTERTAINMENT...

I always have to have a Piñata included in all my kids' parties. The kids love them! This time I made a lollipop one and it turned out really cute!  Again I asked Steve to entertain the kids. They love him and always have a lot of fun! I also got a CD especially for the occasion to play the Lollipop Song - It's my party! by the Supertarz Kids.

THE DRESS...

My daughter looked adorable in her pink hand-smocked dress. I had picked this dress last year thinking of her second birthday and everything just came together perfectly because without planning it the dress had the same party colors: pink with aqua blue and raspberry accents.  Most importantly she enjoyed her party, especially when we sang happy birthday to her! She blew the candles and she had lots of fun serving the cake! :)

~Birthday Party~ Glamour Girl Ooh La La!! A Pink Poodle in Paris

"Ooh La La!  Julianna invites you to Paris to celebrate her 6^th birthday. Get ready to have your hair and makeup done and participate in a Fashion Show. There will be dancing, cake, pinata and lots of Fun!"

 

All the guests received their Boarding Passes Invitation to fly to Paris

with their itinerary and activities to do during their trip.

Seats were assigned, They just had to confirm their flight.

 The theme for the decor was a "A Pink Poodle in Paris" So Tres Chic! in Pink, Purple and Mint Green.

The Cake was Adorable!! It was made by Cakes by Anna in Woodbridge, Ontario. She did a fabulous job.

The Party Favors for the girls were Fashion Fairytale Barbie dolls, wrapped with clear cello paper, matching colors paper bows and pink poodle in paris name tags.  Since the boys favors didn't match with the theme, they were wrapped with tissue paper first then with clear paper.

 I had lots of pink poodles decorating the room and of course tons of Balloons. A Gorgeous Balloon Centerpiece adorned the Sweet Table.  We had tons of sweets, fruits arrangements and the so yummy gummi-pots

To match the theme, I made a huge Eiffel Tower Piñata. I also purchased the Eiffel Tower, the High Heel Shoe and the Little Black Dress cookie cutters  from  Ann Clark Cookie Cutters. I got the sugar cookie recipe from the make more cookies blog. 

 

I had a huge hand-painted mural made to match the pink poodle in Paris theme. This was used as decor and photo backdrop for the little models. It was adorned it with balloon flowers all around.  I also got a directors chair, where the girls sat down to get their hair and make up done before heading to get ready to participate in the fashion show.  We had a clothing rack full of Stylish dresses and accessories, feather boas, hats and other hair accessories the little divas wore on the runway {all the dresses were designed and custom made by my mom and I, and I loved how they turn out}
The girls looked so cute and had much fun!!

Steve from Party with Steve kept the kids entertained with lots of participation games.
 I highly recommend hiring Steve for your kids' party.

~Birthday Party~ A Precious Party for a Pretty Princess

Since I am in the party planning mood again I thought it would be fun to share some pictures of my oldest daughter 4th birthday party. I think this was when my obsession with pretty parties really started.

My mom helped me to do all the decor for the party.  We did a Balloon Arch over the sweet table with matching satin pastel balloons in pink, blue, yellow and gold.

We had a Castle and life-sized princesses made of Styrofoam that we used for background

 and room decor. 

The Party Favors were adorable princess blankets that I purchased online at the Disney Store, then wrapped with cello paper and tied with bows that we made with matching colors paper ribbon.  

The cake was made by my friend's uncle, and he did an amazing job, I gave him a Cinderella doll and he dressed her up in a beautiful gown made out of cake. 

I did fruit arrangements using skewers and cookie cutters.

Of course Cinderella came to the party as well, she sang, read stories and played with the kids...She was fabulous and she came from Fantasy Fables.



My daughter loved her party and all the kids had blast!
