~ Party Printable ~ Cupcake toppers and Invitations {Free download}

I designed these cupcake toppers for a sweet girl who turned 11 a few weeks ago.  She had a few friends over her house to bake and decorate cupcakes.  These mini party circles can be used for favors tags as well.  Just print on cardboard paper, use a 1 1/2" scalloped or circle punch and attach to lollipops sticks.

Click here for ideas on how to use these party circles

I also made matching invitations, and you can use them too. I edited the file and left some blank space just so you can add your party details.

~ Birthday Party ~ Americal Girl Doll Party & Tutorial how to make Pinwheels

How cuter can this get? A party for you and your doll. Beth from Beth Kruse Custom Creations  styled this adorable American Girl Doll party for her daughter Ella's 7th birthday and she sure did and amazing job.

Some of my favorite details of this gorgeous party incude the petite decorations and accessories for the both girls and their dollies like the Pinwheels, hair barrettes, bracelets and birthday hats.  Beth is also sharing with us a tutorial she put together on how to made the paper pinwheels.

Here are all the gorgeous details of this party, as told by Beth:

"Every day, at some point, you can catch my daughter flipping through the American Girl doll catalog. So for her 7th birthday, we decided to do an American Girl Doll Party.
Her favorite color is blue so we picked the colors navy, hot pink and teal. We also used the american girl logo for inspiration and incorporated stars. Because we were doing it outside, I thought pinwheels and bunting would be great decorations"

"I wanted the dessert table to be set up out in our yard. It rained all day so we had to wait until the last minute to set it up.  The large ella banner was cut using the cricut and then I used streamers to ruffle the background"

Beth decorated mini-cupcakes with tall tiny flags she made using wood skewers and paper.
 She wrapped the licorice in bunches and made gorgeous cupcake toppers for the chocolate frosted cupcakes.

Some other sweet treats were the mini-poptarts on a stick {Beth got the recipe from here}, Swirly suckers for girls and pretend suckers for dolls {made by pippaloo} and cookies wrapped with bakers twine.

Lemonade Cans -A favorite of the birthday girl
{lemonade banner attached to dowel rods}

"American girl wraps for cans -could also be made for water bottles-
{make them waterproof by using packing tape!} The girls LOVED these.
They had so much fun finding 'their' doll"

Pinwheels for girls and dolls {how to make pinwheels} and goodie bags

"Matching pinwheel barrettes I made for the birthday girl, her sister and their dolls and
mini plates and cups for the dolls {american girl party supplies from joann fabrics}
I thought these were kind of pricey, but they were a favorite of the girls.
They were all pretending that their dolls were eating too!"

Birthday hats for the dolls

"The party went late so that we could watch a movie outside with a projector so we also used a lot of tiki torches.  The yard looked so pretty!"

Thanks Beth for sharing with us and putting together that wonderful tutorial.

~ Birthday Party ~ 70's Disco Fun! The grooviest event of the Year.

It was my daughter's birthday a couple of weeks ago, and we celebrated with a disco themed party.  She had been planning her party since we finished celebrating her birthday last year.  She loves disco balls and dancing, this theme was perfect for her, but intead of celebrating the 70's, we were celebrating her 7's.

Planning all the details for this party was so much fun, I love this theme.
She wanted this party to be a girls only event, Julianna's Sunday Night Disco Fever!

 We designed the Invitation to appear like a ticket to enter a night club. It had a detachable VIP pass to be given at the door to the security guy {daddy dressed up all in black with a funny wig} I will show you the pictures but I don't think "mi amor" will approve :) He actually had double duty that day, he also had a special presentation as DJ daddy.

{Not exactly from the 70's but she insisted on wearing this rock star outfit}

  Balloon column { My mom's latest design}

 My mom travelled to Canada to surprise my daughter on her birthday and to help with all the decor. The party craze runs in my family.  My mom did the most amazing parties for me and I just want to do the same for my daughters.

Lots of balloons, disco balls, Records, Musical notes and dangling stars were decorating the room.

THE CAKE

 My daughter kept telling me for her cake she wanted 7 tiers, her reasoning is that since she was going to be 7 she had to have 7 cakes... I think she is watching too much of the Cake Boss. I got her 5 tiers between cupcakes and cake, I was kind of close.

This was my second cake and I LOVE how it turned out. I got inspired by a design I saw on the Carlo's bakery website { didn't see my first cake...you can see it here}  I worked so hard on it, making all the little fondant decorations. I stayed up until 5 am the day before the party as the first time the fondant on the cake kept cracking but I kept trying until it finally worked.  It was a lot of work but it was all worth it, as my daughter loved it!
I am actually thinking of taking some serious cake decorating classes at the Bonnie Gordon School here in Toronto.. In fact I already made my 3rd cake for my friend's son birthday last week {pics coming soon}

My daughter loved her rainbow cake and my friends were asking me how I did it. Well It was very easy, just time consuming. I separated the batter in different containers and added food colorant to each, but as I only have one pan of this size, I had to bake and wait 6 times to get all the layers, and wash and grease and flour the same pan 6 times... My husband kept telling me I was crazy ..but I didn't care :)  so my recommendation is if you attempt to do all these layers at least have two of the same size pan.

To coordinate with the party theme, the favors were tie-dye sun visors, peace sign hair ties and "Love" sparkling girls make up.

I made coordinated water bottle labels.  All the disco party printable collection {Invitations, water bottle labels, cupcake toppers and tags} will be available soon at my Etsy shop.

All the girls got their make-up and hair done!

We all had so much fun!

~Birthday Party~ Glamour Girl Ooh La La!! A Pink Poodle in Paris

"Ooh La La!  Julianna invites you to Paris to celebrate her 6th birthday. Get ready to have your hair and makeup done and participate in a Fashion Show. There will be dancing, cake, pinata and lots of Fun!"

All the guests received their Boarding Passes Invitation to fly to Paris
with their itinerary and activities to do during their trip.
Seats were assigned, They just had to confirm their flight.

 The theme for the decor was a "A Pink Poodle in Paris" So Tres Chic! in Pink, Purple and Mint Green.
The Cake was Adorable!! It was made by Cakes by Anna in Woodbridge, Ontario. She did a fabulous job.

The Party Favors for the girls were Fashion Fairytale Barbie dolls, wrapped with clear cello paper, matching colors paper bows and pink poodle in paris name tags.  Since the boys favors didn't match with the theme, they were wrapped with tissue paper first then with clear paper.

Pink Poodle in Paris Deluxe Pack & 8 Favor Boxes
Pink Poodle in Paris Party supplies were purchased at Birthday Express.

 I had lots of pink poodles decorating the room and of course tons of Balloons. A Gorgeous Balloon Centerpiece adorned the Sweet Table.  We had tons of sweets, fruits arrangements and the so yummy gummi-pots

To match the theme, I made a huge Eiffel Tower Piñata. I also purchased the Eiffel Tower, the High Heel Shoe and the Little Black Dress cookie cutters  from  Ann Clark Cookie Cutters. I got the sugar cookie recipe from the make more cookies blog

I had a huge hand-painted mural made to match the pink poodle in Paris theme. This was used as decor and photo backdrop for the little models. It was adorned it with balloon flowers all around.  I also got a directors chair, where the girls sat down to get their hair and make up done before heading to get ready to participate in the fashion show.  We had a clothing rack full of Stylish dresses and accessories, feather boas, hats and other hair accessories the little divas wore on the runway {all the dresses were designed and custom made by my mom and I, and I loved how they turn out}
The girls looked so cute and had much fun!!

Steve from Party with Steve kept the kids entertained with lots of participation games.
 I highly recommend hiring Steve for your kids' party.

~Birthday Party~ Jasmine and Aladdin ~ A Magical party in the Enchanted City of Agrabah

Well since Princess Jasmine couldn't come to my daughter's 4th birthday party, my daughter insisted that she make an appearance at her 5th birthday bash.   And I absolutely loved how this party turned out!   I had so much fun planning everything from the invitations to hiring the right entertainers.

 I used feathers and rhinestones to decorate the invitations, I wanted them to have a magical feel. I wrapped them in clear cello paper and tied with a bow and a tag with
the names of the guests.

 Jasmine, aladdin, Abu the Monkey, the Genie, jasmine's dad 'The Sultan of Agrabah', her pet Tiger Rajah, and Lago (jafar's parrot); they were all present in the birthday party.

The Party favors were Jasmine and Aladdin mugs that I purchased at the Disney Store, wrapped them in clear cello paper and tied with paper ribbon bows that I made in matching colors. (Instructions on how to make them will be available soon).

We decorated the room with ballon arches and columns in aqua, purple, orange and gold.

If you read my post about my daughter's 4th Birthday party, you will notice that it is the same castle that I used as Cinderella's Castle, but I transformed it into a Middle Eastern Castle by adding the gold toppers.

I couldn't find any piñata match the theme so I went ahead and tried to make one myself. I made Aladdin's Magic Lamp. I think it turned out so cute. This was my first piñata; since then I am making them all myself. It was so much fun to make.  And it also worked out as centerpiece for the Sweet Table.

 As for the entertainers, Zan Zar the Magician and Princess Jasmine from fantasy fables were fabulous!

Isn't she cute?
